Well, Its been a while since Ive updated my Journal, So I wanted to just Give you guys who might have been still going to my page and most recently seen how Ive Removed All of my Deviations and what not. So if youve been like "what's up with the afro guy?" well Heres a quick update:
Ever Since I left School Ive been working my Part-Time Retail Job and have been working on my Comic stuff on the side. However, I haven't been beasting it as fully as I should so I hadn't produced anything real worth wile. Ive been thinking about this for some time and it has come down to the simple choice of getting off my Ass and doing what's gotta be done!
So For this year I have a few goals that I want to accomplish:
1. Get a New Job (weather it be doing comic coloring work for another comic company or person or working full time utilitzing my skills in photoshop/illustrator as a graphic artist of sorts)
2. Learn How to Drive and get my license/ Car
3. Produce my own original story 'Rally Warriors' as an Online Graphic Novel or even release a novel version also.
Ive got a lot on my plate, and I have to step my game up! Since Im not taking any classes at the time being, I have no excuses to just sit down and draw my ass off! There are different emotional and mental things I've been allowing block me from pursuing my passion as an artist and writer. I have to just buck up and get my self together! Im really optimistic for this year, as I am not the only one with goals to release my own ideas/work out there my whole family is extremely talented and we are all working to see our visions come to life!
So For all of you who may have been looking for my work in your recent deviations folder, I will be posting more stuff, but they will be more finished and more professional pieces of work. One thing I also have to get out of my Mind is that Im not just a little art student in school anymore. Yes there is still a lot I have to do, and I may not have been paid for an art job YET but I am a professional artist Who has the talent to reach his goals!
This isn't the end of the Afro, and I can't wait to see what Im able to accomplish this year!
